Simpl. is a schema-aware database browser for PostgreSQL databases. The service allows you to connect to your PostgreSQL databases, browse schemas, explore data, and customize table layouts. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Only connect to databases you are authorized to access
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

4. Database Connections

When you connect a database to Simpl., you acknowledge that:

  • You have proper authorization to access and browse the connected database
  • Connection credentials are encrypted and stored securely, but you are responsible for using secure connection strings
  • Simpl. performs read operations on your database; you are responsible for any queries executed through the service
  • We are not responsible for any data loss or corruption in your connected databases

5. Data Handling

Simpl. caches schema metadata to improve performance. Your actual database data is queried in real-time and is not stored on our servers beyond what is necessary to display results in your browser session.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Simpl. to:

  • Access databases without proper authorization
  • Attempt to extract or scrape data in violation of any terms or laws
  • Perform actions that could harm or overload connected databases
  • Share access credentials or allow unauthorized users to access your account
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code

7. Privacy

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason including breach of these terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

Simpl. is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, unauthorized access, or service interruptions.
